From the very beginning, The Shop has endeavoured to “champion” local producers and their products. Along with our main grocery suppliers, we continue to work closely with a number of established local producers who we believe offer quality products that are not usually available in the supermarkets.
Plants
The Shop offers an attractive selection of small seasonal plants supplied and managed by Jaqui Gamble. These are very popular so our stock is always changing. So pop in and take a look and what we have to offer this week.
Kings Cliffe Bakery
This quality local bakery is based in the local village of Kings Cliffe. We stock a wide range of their delicious bread and other bakery items. We have deliveries of fresh product Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Askers Bakery
This quality local bakery is based in Stamford and is family run. We stock a wide range of their lovely bread. We have deliveries of fresh product Mondays, Wednesday and Friday every week.
Hambleton Bakery
This award winning regional bakers specialising in artisan loaves and pastries delivers to the shop every Saturday. We offer a special order service so you never have to miss out on any of your favourite items.
Welland Eggs
Welland Eggs, free range eggs from the Welland Valley, near market Harborough

Grasmere Farm
Operating from their own Free Range Pork farms in Market Deeping, Grasmere Farm supply a range of high quality Sausages, Bacon, Gammon, Ham, Hot & Cold eating pies and barbecue items. They are one of the main suppliers to The Shop.
Clarke’s of Queniborough
Established local butchers in Queniborough, near Leicester, producing top of the range quick frozen ready meals. These have become very popular with our customers.
Pinney’s Suffolk Smokery
The Shop also arranges deliveries of smoked fish from Pinney’s Suffolk Smokery, including Hot smoked salmon steaks, smoked Mackerel, smoked chicken breasts and fish pates
Meah’s Authentic Indian Sauces
Meah's Curry Sauces produce delicately flavoured authentic Indian dishes in their Leicester kitchens. They certainly know their sauces - with over 35 years of restaurant experience.
Longley Farm Yogurts
Longley Farm has been producing prize winning yogurt for over 40 years. We stock a selection of fruit yoghurts along side their highly recommenrded cottage cheese and crème fraiche
All Longley Farm yogurts are live and contain no added colour, preservative or stabiliser - just pure natural ingredients.
Peterborough Dairies
This local distributor supplies most of The Shop’s milk and a full range of dairy products, with a daily delivery to The Shop.
Shire Foods
Kings Lynn based supplier of nuts, cereals, whole foods, cakes, biscuits and confectionery.
Grainstore Brewery
This Oakham based brewer supplies The Shop with their popular bottled ales.
Rutland Honey
A local set and runny honey produced within the county of Rutland.
S C Robinsons
A selection of very popular hot water pastry pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and traditionally cured ham, from Glatton near Huntingdon.
Other Items
We stock a range of high quality Cakes, Jams and Pickles. They are all delicious. In addition we also stock a wide range of biscuits and sweets together with a extensive range of general household items. Why not pay us a vist and take a look.
